Criminal Justice System
Criminal justice system is a legal system of rules and procedural to achieve minimization / control of crime , for maintaining order in a society and imposing penalties on commission of crimes . Code of Hammurabi is the oldest known code of law dated back to 1754 BC. Laws are created and enforced by the government in a modern world.
There are two forms of law
Civil law
Criminal law
Civil law - These law concerned with rules and regulations deals with disputes between one entity and another or in another words used to govern transactions and grievances between individuals. Some Ex are

First..difference between criminology and criminal justice
Criminology is the study related to crime , crime causes , costs and the consequences of crime.
AND
Criminal justice is the system in which crime detected and criminals apprehended , detained , court trial procedure and punished .
Law enforcement - In criminal justice system police is the first to which a criminal contact .Its prevent crime , investigate the crime incident , arrest the offenders and produced them in court. In USA you have find town police , state police or federal agencies like FBI. All are law enforcement agencies but everyone operate on different government level.
Court system - The innocence or guilt of a suspect determine in a court system. The legal field "prosecution " is where criminals faced the result of their crimes. The lawyers known as prosecutors represent the states. The suspect is now a defendant having the opportunity to defend himself. Defense lawyers are defending the suspect. When charges are filed then a formal legal case started against the suspect. Sentencing occurred at court level by the judges . The defendant is then move to corrections system. The court system has attorneys , juries , judges and ancillary staff.
Corrections - The next level of criminal justice system is corrections. "Corrections" is a term used for the network of agencies overseeing convicted person's.
Correction officer work with convicted persons who are in jail ,on parole or on probation and work for their rehabilitation. There is a responsibility of corrections system towards a convicted person until he served his sentence or commuted.
