Crime scene is described as -
Crime scene is a location where an illegal act occurred, and comprises the area
from which most of  the physical evidence is retrieved by trained law
enforcement personal and by forensics scientists .

Its the responsibility and duty of the crime scene investigators to look out that crime scene is
investigated by those experts, who are skilled and qualified in there field. The crime scene 
investigators also has the education , training and experience about scene of crime investigation and its
management.

The achievement or crudeness to link the perpetrator with the crime entirely depends upon the

handling of crime scene and if not properly handled or fully exploited , the vital clues/ evidence may

be lost forever. The expert assist the crime scene investigators to establish corpus delicit ( the

evidence that a crime has occurred  ) , he must search , examine and identify the latent , trace

smallest particle. 

5) Always Collect physical evidence at crime scene along with expert. 

6) After collecting the physical evidence , its the responsibility of the crime scene investigators to

preserve and packed the evidence according to their need.

7) Another essential part of crime scene investigation or Scene of crime investigation is the

documentation of crime scene. 

8) After documentation , the dispatch of exhibits to the forensic laboratory and maintaining of chain

of custody is necessary.

9) Leave nothing behind , its mean that conduct a last survey so that nothing important left behind.

10) Release the crime scene if everything is done .

A systematic approach at crime scene resulted in favor of crime scene investigators and victim and it

would be possible by better understanding between the crime scene investigators and expert. When

both deals with crime scene in disciplined manner then very effective and through examination has

been done. Its also result in collection and preservation of physical evidence at its best and at last

this  Scene of crime investigation favors the crime scene investigators in

court of law.
